Kuala Lumpur, March 20, 2024 – Almotahida Education Group Malaysia hosted an Iftar program bringing together top Arabic language student associations from renowned universities, fostering cultural exchange and Arabic learning.
The event was held on March 14th at Layali El Shams Restaurant and included student groups from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), University of Malaya (UM), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and MARA University of Technology (UiTM).
In addition to breaking fast together, students engaged in fun activities like acting out Arabic vocabulary words. This helped strengthen bonds between different university Arabic language associations.
Authentic Arab dishes prepared by the restaurant’s Arabic chef allowed students to deepen their experience of Arab culture. After evening prayers, attendees enjoyed Artistic performances.
“Programs like this Iftar create meaningful opportunities for Malaysia’s future Arabic language experts to build connections while learning about Arab traditions,” said Doaa Skaik , Almotahida Education Group Malaysia’s general manager . “We at Almotahida aim to promote Arabic language and cultural understanding, and hosting this event allowed us to bring together talented students to foster deeper ties.”
Almotahida Education Group plans to make the Arabic student association Iftar an annual Ramadan tradition in Malaysia as part of its commitment to support Arabic language learning.
